2/6 today, one of the hens started laying today!!!

I had 8 today and was so excited. I dewormed my flock and today is the first day in almost a month that the eggs will be used for human consumption. My dogs have been eating a lot of scrambled eggs. Hopefully, I'll get more tomorrow. I had a few start laying during the egg withdrawal pwriod.

I understand and you should spend sometime with your parents as my father passed in 2010 Halloween day and he drove hid own car over 100 miles that day as he was buying a 1947 Ford pickup from the recycle yard so he had no intensions of passing that day and he was only 86 years old and was planning on fixing the pickup he had just purchased ..

I personally know how hard it must be for them to be going to a home as the VA is trying to get me to go to a Veterans home right now and I spent part of Monday doing paper work for doing so and getting the different documents needed for putting me in but I guess I wont have to wash my own dishes or cook my own food either so there are always some good points I guess but it will still take six months or so ...
