Chicken eggs 8, Oh I am so excited hope this keeps up

A rooster got into the barn where I only have hens and he was so happy and crowing so I had to toss him out and he had tore the feathers off the back of several of the ladys this id the reason I have separated these ladys and the roo's are separated and are free rangers and there are free range hens but they stay in the grow out pen and this the girls do on their own and two roo's also have declared them selves King and chase off any offenders to their kingdom. The fences are only 4 feet tall so coming and going is easy and I only put the 10 to 12 week old chicks in the grow out pen but sometimes a momma will hatch some out and those chicks will spend their childhood growing up in the grow out pen .




Temp 62F degrees, this morning just after the sun came up the moon was still up and it looked so funny as it was just setting behind the Argus mountain range to the west of us and the sky was a blue green right around the moon with a golden yellow above the moon, wish I had my camera as it wasn't something I see all the time . off to the east the Telescope Peak with a 11043 FT peak or 11331 feet above the lowest point in Death Valley the lowest point is 279 feet below sea level at Badwater Springs Basin . The Panamint mountain range was covered in snow as the sun rose, so funny how one of the hottest desserts in the world has its moments of beauty and splendor.

Wow pretty great count there how are you doing I am ready for spring
had another deep litter attack by the bales the girls and blue are having a great time
only picked up one egg as was re coating two nest boxes didn't want to totally cover left roughly six in other boxes
until later
