And a clean coop! The guys cleaned it out for me. So much better with that wet bedding gone.
The eggs "should" stay spotless again.

Temp Thursday and Friday it rained how odd most of the local lower roads were closed but Saturday was nice and clear in the low 50's ya just freezing cold but the birds seemed to enjoy it but the chickens haven't seemed to stay under cover .

Ridiculously warm today 51F and partly sunny at noon. Average high 34, that was the low at 5am. Noreaster coming tonight, rain instead of snow.
Chickens have a new toy that I gave them Friday morning after cleaning coop. Still playing with this morning. What is it you ask. An empty gallon spring water bottle. Rectangular in shape, won't roll away. I poked a hole in cap and screwed on tight, so bottle won't deform with changes in temperature. Found plastic label in pen this morning and tossed in trash.
