@penny1960 & @karenerwin thanks for prayers & wishes, wife's home, lots of pain but ok. I took 3 days vacay to take care of her & the 3 kids. I'd been learning to cook ramen noodles w/ eggs- fastest lunch/dinner

13 eggs today.
Had to go back through previous posts to find the one that I said I had a broody hen so I could figure out when the chicks are due. Turns out the 1st nest should be due this Monday and the 2nd broody nest should be due around April 12th. I usually am very good about writing that kind of stuff down, but not this time.

Cold and rainy 34F. Possible snow tonight. I want spring already, my hens want spring. So that makes six of us.

I think my girls are getting past the shock of losing three sisters. I got 9/10. Only got 4 yesterday. I think the netting I put up will work to prevent the hawk from getting back into the coop.
