I have a problem with animals showing up at my house lol growing up 3 baby chicks showed up in the basement

I think I even smuggled a hamster home once. But he traveled in my purse to Walmart and all the way home.

Well, I did it. It was record time alright, record slow time!

I was 13th out of 13 for my age & gender, but I wasn't last overall! I really shouldn't complain, I don't think I have run since last November! I only managed to run the first half and then walked most of the 2nd half, but I still finished in about my normal time, just under an hour. 51:51 to be exact.

karenerwin, I am looking at another 3 weeks or just before Easter and we should have some goslings running around the yard . So sorry to be reading about you chick so now you only have the one how lonely . Cross beak happens and it is also genetic and all chickens will produce at least one and others just way to many ...

Momma goose is still sitting on her eggs .



Temps mid 60's with heavy winds with gusts of 60 MPH so I am staying in doors till its over .

Fortunately, I had bought 2 black copper marans when the first chick hatched because I wasn't sure if anymore would hatch, so the chick still has 2 friends to grow up with. I can't wait to see pictures of little goslings running around in 3 weeks!!

16 eggs today. Also, brought home 6 meat chicks that were hatched out at my school. They are in the brooder with the chick I hatched & the 2 store bought chicks. One big happy mixed family!!
