How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Hay people it takes more then one to vote another person in for a BYC Friend badge and I do believe karenerwin deserves one for her time and effort what about anyone else ?????

Chicken eggs 6

Turkey egg 1

Temp mid 70's with light winds .

I have been bummed out for a couple of day now as I found no wild donkeys on my road Friday when I got home from the VA Hospital and Saturday I seen a lot of crows around the dry river bad so I took a look and some crack head had shoot one of the mules for fun and I only come to this conclusion from the hole in its side and no meat was taken other then by the crows :(   Bad part is this happened on protected wild life lands .

OMG how cruel! I hope the idiot trips over something next time and shoots himself, not that I want him dead but he probably has a mean streak and kills innocent animals often so it might be a good thing. How can some people look in mirrors!

I would need to know a bit more about the chicks. Do they have beards & muffs? What color are their legs? They are most likely Easter Eggers (EE's) and if that is the case their eggs could be blue, green, olive, pink or tan. I am not knowledgeable about true Ameraucanas, as I have never had any. I believe that I have read that they are tailless. Do your birds have tail feathers?

That's sad too. We all know it's the chicks who will suffer. They may survive but not be as vigorous as they should be or they may just not make it. ( Then, I'm sure it would be all your fault (as seen through the eyes of your neighbor)

15 eggs today. Haven't seen any little chicks yet, but also have not lifted broody off of the nest. I may do that tonight when I lock everyone up.

Definitely ear muffs, one more than the other... not sure about beards, their heads are still fuzzy but looking rather unkepmt (like a bad hair day). Tails are shorter than the BO & cuckoos at this point but not truly tail-less. Legs are slate on the one that is all white. The other is ever so subtly buff, hers might be green, but it is a slate green. I just wanted to make sure I would still get a colored egg as opposed to white if they are indeed WL crossed with Ameraucana. Thanks!
