My daughter plans on only being home for the Summer and then going back to Ohio for the school year. Not sure how that is going to happen. she didn't do so well in college this 1st year. GPA = 1.47. She needs at least a 1.5 to be able to get any scholarship $ or financial aid. Don't know if she takes Summer classes & does well, if that will re-activate her ability to get Financial Aid or not. Going out of state is really expensive, so even with F.A., I don't think she will be able to attend out of state. Guess she'll cross that bridge when she gets there.

. It was my only Black Penedesenca rooster. He and his 4 ladies were out free ranging. When I went to close up their coop, only the 4 ladies had returned. He has always returned with them before. I looked all around and in the woods as best I could (it was getting dark & it was hard to see in the woods, even with my flashlight). I'll look around again tomorrow. I am pretty sure he is gone/dead, but I would like to try to figure out what got him. I have 6 eggs fertilized by him from the 1 Black Penedesenca hen I have. I am going to put them in the incubator tonight.
