Still zero for 6. I'm not expecting any from the 6.5 year old hen, but the other five are 19 1/2 weeks old, so every day I think this might be the day....

I got 1 egg today - my first!!! I have 14 hens between 22 and 24 weeks old so hopefully it is the first of many!

Heat and humidity are back 91F, at the moment. Summer weather the first Sunday in autumn. Less wind today. Summer temps supposed to last till Thursday.
Found an egg with a hole, membrane punctured in nest this morning, tossed in pen to let hens have at it.
3/5 good eggs. GC

give her time not all may lay the same day also many do not lay daily.. I am looking at possibly just 3 today went out to the egg fridge retrieved a dozen so I may still bake
