22 Today, 2 w/o shell got broken, must be the molters laying eggs?

2/3- my EE, Hazel, has given an egg a day for the past 21 days. Guess she needed a break. BCM Barry and PBR Pam gave a nice small egg each. Graduating from peewee eggs! At least some days, lol. I sure am enjoying being a hobby farmer. These chickens have been so good for my mental health.

One broken under roost and one in nest at 5am. Two more at 9am.
3/5 whole eggs today. GC

Three and that's all I'm going to get until the other two stop molting, those butts are closed for business.

My EE that skipped yesterday couldn't even wait until after breakfast this morning. There was am egg waiting for me when I went out to feed them. My other girls each gave one today. My other EE that hasn't started laying yet seems to be developing a redder comb. Still no squatting or visiting the best boxes so.....? Maybe soon, maybe not, haha. My Speckled Sussex doesn't show any sign, either.

@GC-Raptor I was getting broken eggs under the roost too and then we got ants. It seems less frequent these days but I'm adding a poop board which will also keep the eggs from breaking. I hope.

I won't eat the eggs that land on poop board.there soaked in POOP! I do feed them to my dogs.

all four FCm pullets laid a small egg today Most of my year old RIR and my older girls are just getting over molt or still looking shabby.
