We are in a Blizzard warning here, we got around 6 inches so far, with 10 to 16 projected.
It's windy and gusting to 40 mph in my area. Snow is supposed to end around 8pm.
I opened the chicken door at 5am and we had flurries and about an inch. I scattered some seeds right outside the door and no hens came out. They waited for me to toss under the raised coop. .
I went out to the coop at 9am and there was about 4 inches. I closed the chicken door because no one was coming out.

6 full size 1 Silkie here today 9 go to close human doors on coops tonight it started to rain took out house dogs went down hard coming in with them raining makes the little incline slick as snot I was mud from stem to stern.. bright spot BF took other two dogs then brought me another egg from the main coop 4 blue every day
made 7 and one Silkie

I got about 11 inches of snow yesterday, hard to measure with the drifting snow. . I used the snowblower to clear the pen last evening.
Today I have the chicken door open, but I have not seen the hens come out.
The temperature right now is 8F, with wind chill below zero. Supposed to go down to -5 to -10, tonight with wind chill -20 to -30. OUCH.
