25/30 Even though snow almost the whole day. For some reason my fingers seems a lot colder when refilling the waterers these last 2 days. Did my body went on spring mode? Lol

still about 50 to 55 daytime just 9 today 1 banty main coop 3 silky eggs but only one is laying eggs

8 eggs today! Yeah! New layer... Now am at 11/14. last 3 should start laying any day.
5 more {CLB} at 14 wks and 5 marans at 11 wks. Lots of eggs coming this summer!!

13/17 yesterday. We are waiting for a broody to step up and stick. Two different Sussex have started and backed off. Maybe once we get out of this snow today, sun tomorrow weather pattern one will settle in.

Poor girls clocks are probably all outta kilter.

Worse than the DST shift!! How many hours of light were they getting per day before you turned it off? We are pushing up to 12 hours per day so they should naturally be laying better.

I've been hoping one of our Ameraucanas will go broody, I hear they are good mothers. I have no idea what will result from our Jubilee Sussex roo and Ameraucana, Marans and Welsummer hens. Probably a flock of beautiful Easter Eggers and brown egg mutts
