Have you signed out then back in ? just taking some basic ideas alright or cleared your cache

Thanks Penny, yep I've been on and off at least once today and my laptop crashed which would have cleared my cache. Could you see the photo he posted OK? Also it has happened before but only with his pics!

28 Eggs Today! Broody #1 hatched 3 chicks so far, 1 more egg left under here. I candled the other 3 that I pulled out was nothing in there. Weird thing was she moved all the eggs and chicks on the floor 3 inches down from the nests and 2 feet away don’t know how they do that?

We’re camping so I have someone else caring for the flock. We ended up culling kamikaze chicken last week. It was her time. Now I’m down to 16 and on the hunt for started pullets. If I don’t find any, I’ll be getting some fluffs! We’ve been averaging 11-14 eggs a day. I’ve caught a Bantam sleeping in the nest box and hanging out there fairly early in the day. I just took out all the fake eggs - hoping that will straighten them out. Anyone else miss their chickens when they’re out of town? Can’t wait to go home tomorrow and see my girls!!

3 from 2 today! Can't decided if one of them was actually laid late yesterday and I didnt' see it (only had 1/2 yesterday) or if she laid early then late but that isn't possible is it with 22 hour or whatever it is.

Anyone else miss their chickens when they’re out of town?

I havent' been away yet - actually not sure how I'll be happy leaving anyone else with them!

yeah I think you are probably right. Was the same hen - both were the strange white, rough eggs with a shiny patch that I get quite regularly.

We’re in Leavenworth! Not heading south until August. Although, if they’re really bugging you, I may consider a special trip.
