8 eggs today. Temps are suppose to drop. Tomorrow's high should be 22 degrees F. Predicting 3 inches of snow, give or take.
May be spending another weekend inside.

That's great. Mine have been laying since Mid/late 23 December, they will be 6 months sunday. The last five days I'm getting 8-10 (11 hens, sapphire gem) a day. Just hit the wall today with 3.5 doz eggs in the fridge.

Put 2 doz in the insta pot, Husband was worried there were no eggs for breakfast. This is our first time on egg over load. I need to work more eggs into our menu.

For some reason Meyer thinks EEs are broody. I've got 3 now, have had several others. None have ever gone broody.

4 of my EEs were from Meyers, none got broody but the 3 Australorps I got from them all went broody @6 months old after few clutches of eggs.

We normally have egg overloads in summer, we pickle them with red beets and consume them during slow time. We also freeze eggs in ice trays then put them in freezer bags for batch cooking.
