So, while I am thrilled for you (not to mention envious of you), acknowledgement would have started something that would get out of control quickly. I just couldn't allow that to happen so close to bed time. I hope you can empathize and forgive my overlooking your post as a necessary unpleasantness.

Decisions, decisions, I need to get rid of some of these beautiful roos too. I need to cut down to 2 or even 1 but who?

OK lets help each other and the others can help us too! Lets list the options and see what everyone thinks.
My aim is to breed some easter eggers so at least one of my decisions is easy! I'm in the same situation - I need to only have 1 or at the most 2. Spring seems to have really put chilli down thier pants and the girls getting run ragged! I have the following:

• William - a pure white araucana - he is staying for his blue egg genes!
• King Louis - a mix of not 100% sure - Orpington / Pekin I think. He was my first roo that I knew of and he is really lovely looking and lovely so I feel awful culling BUT I think I shoudl really as he is already a mix!
• Blue Copper Marans roo - was going to cull as soon as I knew but then started thinking about the dark egg genes over my different coloured girls so he has moved to a maybe
• A HUGE grey orpington - he is lovely and gorgeous but I don't think the orps are a good feed / egg ratio to be honest. I do have to finish getting rid of his scaley mites and if I did that I'm sure I could sell him as they are rare here but I'm thinking maybe the pot realistically!
• A tiny little cochin bantam with a quite irritating crow! Doesn't eat much and is quite cute. I've just moved my 2 silkies into the broody / babies run as I decided they were terrified and not leaving the coop for weeks (thought it was rain to start with but then carried on and I think it is the grey Orp' roo as he seemed to really go at them the second they came down). I wondered if it would be worth a try putting him in with them?

That's it but really need to get rid of them as they are bickering as well as really going mad at the girls.

If your flock were my flock......
I would keep the white roo and the Marans. I would not have the tiny silkies exposed to the big roos.
I would process all the rest or sell them. I know the bantam boy has an annoying crow. Maybe someone else won't find it bothersome.

That said, any rooster that is aggressive toward humans I would not keep regardless of breed.

Ok. Wow. I just tried to make my imaginary choices for your boys and discovered I couldn't bring myself to cull any of them. So I took them to the local farmers market and sold them to a sweet lady that loves roosters...I've got a really good imagination.
I would love to raise chicks via a broody, then I realise I would have to make choices like this. If I can't imaginarally (is that a word?) cull your boys how would I cull mine for real? Truthfully I want to get my head wrapped around this and get on with it.
With that in mind, I'd sell Mr. Gray (Lavender? ) for his rarity, sell or give away King Louis for his beauty and good temperament (I think that was what you meant by lovely looking and lovely which someone else may need a good tempered boy), keep Mr. Copper (sorry, I named him for my own purposes) and Sir William (continuing the royalty), and start a cute banty/silky flock for my own amusement.
Like I said, good imagination.

@PouleChick I agree with @21hens-incharge on the roos. If you want to know what is going into your chicks, meaning keeping blue egg genes and very dark egg genes, you don't want to have your mutts in the mix.
