Okay what did you spell wrong there Bruce , I have 2 silkie eggs girls a cockerels having dirt baths inside others in the nest turn around before I cleaned on 2 I could get just then from the main coop also

Sofia, I've been spelling it Sophia. But DD1 names the chickens so I guess she gets to decide how to spell their names as well. She named DD2's cat Christofur .... no that is NOT a misspelling.

Did get my tables cleaned finally seem to only have 4 today in the main coop I only name cockerel for some reason goes back to upbringing if you may eat it don't name it

8 eggs today. We had the 6 year old Grandson over all day. He helped me collect eggs. He was disappointed that the chickens wouldn't let him pet them!

He'd be disappointed here to Karen, other than Aurora who will squat, none of them are interested in being touched. Though ... the 2 EEs I have to move from the feed room to the coop EVERY night will walk onto my hand to be carried. The Austra White isn't quite as cooperative but she's getting better, I didn't have to grab her last night.

-7.4°F at 7:30 this morning. There were 2 eggs in the closed nest box, pretty clearly Daisy and Aurora. Given how early they laid makes me think at least one of the two I found yesterday is a new layer. And again, given the size of both it is likely they are both new layers

Wednesday 6 eggs from group 1, today 6 from group 1 and 2 from the look don't touch cage(group 2) so it looks like I have another one laying in group 2. Yeah I'm excited

okay seem to have 7 main coop was late getting to clean had last minute christmas shopping for the Son he is 38 lives here to help Dad and I love him dearly no we moved 7 birds from silkie coop last night to another coop I have so no eggs there in silkie

10 eggs for me today. Will be driving down to see my son and his family tomorrow to celebrate Christmas. So I have decided to leave all the chickens in the coop all day. They will not be happy! They rarely have to stay in all day.

4 today - Daisy and Lily (White Rocks), Aurora (Austra White) and Anna (Columbian Wyandotte). 99% sure I now have 5 of the 8 pullets laying.

My green legs laid a green egg! One today, none yesterday. Today is Thursday I think.
