Only 2 today, my girls don't like change at all after moving 8 to a pen and another 6 to the double cage only 2 eggs from 22 pullets

4 today...kind of. My barred Cochin Maggie FINALLY laid in the nesting box BUT seemed so attached to the egg I decided to let her sleep on it. If she abandons it, I’ll just have 1 more egg tomorrow.

Would have been 8 I think but then I dropped my phone directly on one when I was collecting them and broke it and then I tripped with another one in my hand later on and broke that one! I didn’t fall thankfully but crushed it when I squeezed my hand! Idk why I did that. I guess the instinctive trying to grab onto something reflex or something. so anyway... 6 today.

9 eggs from 10 chickens on Valentine's Day. That's how you show your love. All this despite the last 2 nights at -23F. Averaging about 6 eggs per day from 10 chickens, so really doing great this winter.

Very sad and I hope you've learned your lesson, the phone does NOT need to be in hand at all times! OK, I guess it wasn't since at one point it was visiting the eggs.

7 or 8 today depending on how you want to count them. When I went down this morning I noticed there was an egg in the corner of the feed room. Frozen and cracked so laid yesterday and I'll count it as one more for yesterday even though it is likely good for nothing but chicken food (no dog and the cats don't seem to care for eggs). No one has been laying there for quite some time but there was another egg there this afternoon.
