However, I heard one of my new Leghorn pullets singing the laying song so I stopped what I was doing and got the nest boxes ready with bedding and ceramic eggs. I have 3 WL, 3 Ameraucanas, and 5 Welsummers that are due to lay in June/July. They are only 15 1/2 weeks old so it’s still a little early.
11 eggs for sure. A new broody in the small coop. Don’t know how many she is sitting on. Also don’t know if new eggs are being added to the broody sitting on eggs in the big coop. I’m still taking eggs out of the nest of the broody with chicks.
