I forgot to say I got 6 out of 6 yesterday!!! Not bad considering 2 are older Faverolles, 4 and 5 years old!

12 Yay! I released Luca from the clink. She didn’t run to the nest so looking good so far. Bedtime will tell the tale.

Only 52 today
I think my ladies didn't like the heat. It topped out at 101°F and it's supposed to be as hot, or worse, for the next week.

5 out of 6 today! Both older Faverolles laid two days in a row. The only slacker was the Brown Leghorn.

Yep. Horrid heat and oppressive humidity... that’s our story for at least the next 2 months. I hope there’s no actually 101 in our future but mid to upper 90s for sure.

That's one thing I can be thankful for, our humidity isn't too bad at all. Usually between 10/20%
Anything more than that would be absolutely miserable with the heat
