I've never really had many bantams, but I believe they do lay a bit fewer eggs. I think true bantam breeds lay the least. But don't take my word as gold.

I only have 1 laying bantam at the moment (a 1 y/o cochin bantam), and she does lay less than the standards. Not by a lot though. She probably lays 5 out of 7 days on average.
I'm not sure if true bantams lay less than that. I have two D'Uccles, but they aren't laying yet, so we'll have to see.

I’d say 5 out of 7 days is quite good! If all my chickens laid like that I would be driving down the street giving eggs away.

My silkie where great layers of 4 I would always get three a day till they got old ..
