Please get her a chicken friend they are very social creatures ..

I'm working on it, thank you for your concern. :] She used to have 10 friends and a rooster but I had to evacuate because of a fire, and I had no way to take them with me. When I was allowed back, I had lost all but this one to coyotes since the elk smashed through my run to get the feed.
No one wants just one hen to add to their flocks. No one has any extra hens to buy this late in the year either it seems and I've been looking for months. I'll have to widen my scope I think.

I haven't. I know most of them live 2+ hours away from me and most have specific breeds they're working on and I have plans on getting chicks next year and I can only have so many . (no chicken math in this coop, sadly) But then again, I know she can't be by herself, especially over winter and I'd trust the quality and health from fellow bycers more than random people. Quite the quandary.
