How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

4/11 all new layers and still uncertain how many have reached POL. I’m getting 3 to 5 a day since the first egg was laid.

3/3 from the always consistent bantys

I have 11 tonight the girls are all a bit worried.
I lost 3 birds to the neighbors dog, One bird was in the yard hunkered down .. I found her brought her in the coop first I set her on a table she wobbled almost off it. Picked her up again, set her on the floor .. She knows me so did not fright or scare from me.
May loose one more before the night is over.
Smudge my rooster is tailless and lost a bit of his dignity.
He fought he good.

3 today. I had to leave the chickens in the pen this morning instead of letting them free range so I could run to town so they weren’t very happy.
