Six for six for the first time. Actually, I have 8 hens, but only 6 are laying so far, so I'm counting that as 100%. The other two should start laying anytime.
I have no idea my birds are free ranging and every once awhile I stumble upon a nest of 12+ eggs or have a hen disappear and show up a few weeks later with a brood of chicks. As far as the chickens laying in the coop I am down to 4 a day from a high of 36 a month and half ago.
2 for 2 - finally they're back to laying every day.
For a week it was only 1 a day. Husband was going to go have a talking to with them - all about internal temperatures and when a chicken is 'done'. He's JOKING. We don't eat chicken
I got my record of 7 eggs today - 2 Brown, 3 White, 1 Green, 1 Blue
I think only 7 of my girls are laying so far, so that 100% for them.
I have 9 pullets all the same age, but I know the Silkie isn't laying yet, and I think I have a free-loader Leghorn too. I have 4 Leghorns but never got more than 3 white eggs in a day...usually just 2. I also have 3 younger pullets who aren't laying yet...will be a couple more months for them.
