How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I have 3 adult hens and 5 pullets. Today I got two pullet eggs and 2 from the adults. I’m enjoying having pullets again!

I got 2 today! First egg from one pullet and second egg from another. A third pullet seems very close to laying soon.

Yep! And I was excited to know who laid each one, since I kept catching them in the nest box so kept checking back. One of them kept practicing egg song before laying and every time I heard it I went and looked.

Two eggs again today. Goldy's was identical to the one she laid yesterday in both size and color. Sassy's was smaller but better shaped and the same color as yesterday. Wouldn't surprise me if the one she laid yesterday has two yolks since it was her first and was kind of long.
Maybe tomorrow another will start laying. I have one that the pelvic bones are really close to 2 fingers.

4 from the big girls I have around 22 birds plus Smudge my rooster.

So far today we have 5. We have 11 big girls about 18 weeks old. They've just started laying about 2 or 3 weeks ago. Each day is a different number of eggs. They are not consistent yet. Still new at this. They are a loud bunch when the eggs are layed.

Just one egg today, from Sassy, unless Goldy laid hers right before bedtime. Still nothing from the other 9.
