How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Most of my adult hens are mothing- 4? Then I have pullets, some are about to lay in one month. I will get many soon. I only have a BCM and a EE/NN laying but just yesterday one new layer started. (It may be one that is not a pullet though) Soon as a few get started though, I bet I will get a bunch, they like to copy, and compete. I also have many hens going down, too that is a good sign.

Well, there was a third egg, but it was broken and empty out of the coop when I found it, so I suspect it was laid in the yard and a raven got to it.

Had a egg layed at a water bucket a week ago.
5 last night the big girls, 3 from banty again.

We had very similar rates with our eggs. First 7 eggs 2 girls 5 boys, second seven 2 girls 4 boys 1 died. Hope you get a few more girls next time.

Thanks so much! Yeah I don’t really have good luck with these types of things. I have somebody bringing me some more chickens that we know are pullets/hens
