How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

4 out of 6, but 1 was a soft shelled egg. My BR just started laying yesterday, and I think it was her.

2.5 dozen out of 10 for 3 days. They have started laying good again. Heat has backed up some and it's finally rained! Sure beats 1 dozen a week!!!

I have 24 laying hens of age to lay. I usually get 16 down to 12 eggs a day. I figure that is pretty normal. I have one or two that are now wanting to sit. and a couple look like they are molting. These are mixed chickens not all great layers. 7 EE's , 2 Leghorns, 2 Marans, 1 Wellington,1 New Hamp, 1Golden Campine, I Dominique, 2 Silver Laced Wyandottes, 3 Austrolarps, 1 Splash Andalusian, 1 Delware, and 2 turkens. One of the Marans is broody and the other ones comb is getting light. One turken looks like she is molting.

Now you know the whole story. LOL
Well, not quite. I have 6 more EE's coming up. they are 9 weeks old. A ways to go for them to start.

Still getting the same 2 eggs from 4 hens... both in the same nest box too, the other boxes aren't even touched, weird...I guess they like to share? lol:/

Today i got 11 eggs our of 20 but they are just starting to lay so its very exciting to have that many in one day! Its the most so far.

None of my Ameraucanas are laying.

None. Absolutely, positively, ZILCH! 30 pullets, and no eggs. Oldest which are WPR, and NHR are 19 weeks old. Youngest are 17 weeks and are sexlinks. They ALL are accepting the roo's proposals now, but still NO EGGS!
