When they get into a real heavy molt it looks like my yard is filled with chicken shaped hedgehogs

The one cockerel and the super old bantam are exempt from egg laying expectations.

I got 8 today. As a reward, I scrambled a half dozen eggs for the chickens. And I'm going to have scrambled eggs myself for supper.
