How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Zero again.

A much needed vacation I call it. I have 8 free loader lawn ornaments, 4 moulting, Henny Penny with her two chicks, so what’s that um, 12 not laying out of 30.

2 from my two Golden Comet girls. Bossy and Flossy. As soon as I finished feeding, Bossy raced straight for the stand of Crepe Myrtles and shortly laid an egg. I didn’t see Flossy go in there but a couple hours later, I found her egg in the same spot. My two Bantam Seramas haven’t laid an egg in months.

Too early for eggs this morning but yesterday I got 5 from my 5 laying hens.
I have a young Barnevelder who has not started laying yet. From what I read, they are very late starters. I think she's about 8 months old so should,be starting to lay.
Yesterday I saw a rooster that's in the same enclosure trying to mount her, so I assume that is also an indication that she has reached laying age.
I am looking forward to seeing those chocolate colored eggs.

5 eggs so far, plus a crushed one under the roost this morning. In the dim light it looked like a greenish egg, so could be my last BYM we were waiting on. Have to head out this afternoon, so will check again when I lock them up around supper time.

I got 2 out of 2 if you only count girls that are currently laying. 2 out of 15 if you count the girls that stopped for winter or have never started.

Have not posted in long time 7 yesterday from the big girls.
Have not had banty eggs in close to 2 weeks.

2 again today, were supposed to get some sun the next few days hope that helps. Solar panel is barley keeping the battery charged for there coop door being so cloudy.

14 today, almost stepped on a blue one again on the floor in the Hen House doorway.

And check out this honking big blue egg - I posed it next to a first time pullet egg,

and some other regular sized eggs.

I thought Sharpie’s brown egg was huge!

Ended up w 2 more eggs, one looks to be a new pullet egg, it was green! So 7 eggs plus a broken one, best day of laying yet!
