How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

This was a seven egg day.

12 today, but one had a brittle shell so I tossed it. They are slowing up now, had a couple broody, and a couple moulting.

4 pullet eggs, 0 hen eggs.

I noticed mine are slowing now too. I am glad I got my water glassing started early. I have close to 14 dozen put away. I will finish this last jar, and that should be enough to get me through the short days of winter.

I have been getting 3 a day except for the 30th of June. Bernadebts are getting a little bit bigger now too just waiting for the other 3 to start laying

9 I believe from all the coops combined. The Dark Cornish were still sitting on the next boxes laying late so I don't know how many are in their nests as I forgot to go back and get their eggs. For a meat breed they have been laying quite well. Back when the weather was cooler we sometimes got 8 eggs a day from 8 hens.
