0 today. But my second ever egg had a double yolk so that was cool.

It’s an Easter egg hunt here most days. My straw pile is a favourite place at the moment. I have a sheet over the straw to protect from poops, but the sneaky gals crawl under the sheet, dig out a nest in the straw and lay eggs there hahaha. Same with the hay, not sure what the horses think about chickens nesting in their hay and bedding

Got 4 yesterday and so far I have 3. I have been letting them free range and yesterday they were all out and just having fun. Peppa is now following me when I call her to come with me.

Four eggs so far today. I pulled up the last two big red leaf lettuce plants and several bean plants and tossed them to the birds.

ETA: Spoke too soon. Egg #5 was found in the nest at 12:30, which makes 1300 good eggs so far this year.
