Yesterday evening I found a Banty egg from Goldie in the empty water bucket where I found a stash a week or so back. Then when I closed up the coop, there was another Banty egg from Jade in the nest box. I’m still seeing occasional busted soft shell eggs, but rarely a solid egg from the Golden comets.

5 eggs today, from Helmikuu, Marzo, Ebrel, Juillet and Août

3 eggs today out of my 5 laying hens. All of them very big! If I had to guess, one was Marans, then Barred Rock, and the last a RIR. Good job, ladies!

I don't know for sure how many hens I have but it is over 100 and some are 4 years old but range from 5 months and up and I got 90 eggs today and have an average of 80+ a day.
