How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Out of seven hens I have 5 eggs..although one hen that hasnt laid today is nesting now! And Little Bit is on strike she wants to be a momma! I got 6 eggs!

22/30 Not bad! I kept 'em locked in the coop this morning until about 11 so they would lay there instead of in a nest somewhere else. I have 3 that I don't think look ready to lay, and my little EE Eeyore, I dunno if she'll ever be able to lay. I must find out who is laying the triple yolkers though! Today makes two days in a row. That's gotta hurt!!

An even dozen from our twelve Gold Comets! First time all twelve have layed. We have seven other 'youngsters' that are seventeen weeks old but they won't be laying for another month or so. Way to go Gals!!!

I got one out of three. The first one ever! Just as good as getting 100 eggs,

Still the same - 1 egg out of 4 hens.

The Andalusian hen is amazing! The other girls... not so much.

What gives?! Does anyone know if it's normal for Orpingtons to stop laying this time of year? They still have their feathers as far as I can see.
