4 eggs today, from Août and the young hens.

Juillet is going through a tough molt. I couldn’t get her to eat anything the past couple days. I’ve tried tuna, egg and black soldier fly larva, but she won’t touch them. She still scratches and eats the occasional bug or clover while she’s foraging though. I hope she gets her appetite back tomorrow.

i got 9 eggs today out of 10 hens that should be laying at this time woohooo.

I got a Welsummer and Dominique egg today out of 12 hens.That'll be my breakfast tomorrow morning. I can't complain because my broody is sitting on 8 eggs and 1 is molting.Most of the others laid yesterday

Not a fan of Purina! Same thing happened to our birds while I was trying to find a place to buy Kalmbach feed around here! They looked healthy but egg production was way down!

I feed Purina Layena both short pellets and textured. My gang likes and does well on it. There are local mills that produce their brand of feed but the ingredients are basically all the same.

Have fed purina horse feed but it’s so expensive now I switched to a local feed which they like better, and rolled oats with beet pulp. The chooks really like sharing dinner with my thoroughbred mare hahaha

13 eggs today, one has what looks like a peck, I’ll keep that one for myself, the membrane is still intact.
