How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

5/10 again today. The Cuckoo Marans laid an egg that was 86 grams. She is a keeper. Last Tuesday one of the EE's laid a 86 gram egg too. I can't wait to see how many yolks they have in them. I have to wait for my husband to come home to share the experience.

for the last week I had been in CO. so I couldnt tell you how many I got a day-yesterday I got 18?? but I dont have 18 confirmed layers and was told the person taking care of my birds did not collect yesterday-so we'll see today!!! Maybe I do have new layers!!

still zero unless golf balls count. It's been a month. Thier combs are starting to redden up a bit...thank god this molt is almost over. I also did see my roo struting his stuff for a potential new layer.

I got 3 eggs from 5 hens (or 4 and one maybe)- best of all, I got my first blue egg from my Ameruacana pullet! It was small, but so pretty!

I have 8 adult layers, 27 5 month old RIRs, 2 White Crested Black Polish (5 & 6 Months old) I got 14 Brn eggs today (13 brn & 1 white yesterday) So much for production decrease in the winter. Happy Chickens = lots of eggs ;-)
