Hello We got 4 of 5 finally.Can't wait to see 5 of 5.I will really be excited then.

7 out of 14, but they are still young and only 22 weeks. Got also 3 soft shells broken ones today, so 3 more girls are getting ready. WOOHOO !!!!!

14 eggs today. My wife and I ordered 27 chicks in April (24 hens). We've been getting about 8 per day for since Labor day. It's still kind of early but we are excited to see the fruits of our labor. We have 12 Buff Orps (1 roo) , 4 R.I. Reds, 5 EE's (1 roo), 3 Blk Australorps & 2 brown leghorns (not including the 12 bantams)

5/7 today our re-homed Welsummer has laid her second egg today.

I get 5-7 eggs per day but since they're free range I may keep them in most of the day so they don't lay somwhere else.
