I got 10 eggs out of 10 hen today

most of the time I get 9 eggs.

I got called away from home and fed the girls late
and got punished for it - 4/10... however the following day
most of the eggs were a lot bigger 6/10

I think a feed hopper project beckons!

Also the weather has been too hot lately, and I wonder
if this has had some effect - although they can choose the shade
anytime they want.

Oh yeah BTW! One of my Rhodies for sure has started laying, i saw her do it! At almost 6 months.

kk this may sound extremely wierd but i got 12 eggs in 2 days from 5 hens and they are all above 2 except for the light/speckeld sussex lol weird
