YAY! 8 today and one was a huge 88 grams! Gotta go check what size that makes it since I only did my cheat sheet up to 77 grams..

Rhoise- I took your advice and gave them their warm oatmeal tonite before they went to bed. They loved it! I had all I could do to get thru the coop door, they were crowding it. I guess it was a nice surprise for them

Yep just gave the girls their oats, been mixing sunflower meats, and scratch grains in too.
They Snarf it up like Lightning!!! Thinking about FF been checking out the posts

Today was the second day of laying from 2 hens and 1 pullet, I got two today!

6/10 3 days in a row!!! Can't believe how fast and much these brown sexlinks are laying. Today is 5 months to the day since I got them, and 3 out of the six eggs weigh out as large eggs over 57 grams on my digital reloading scale. Kind of wondering how long I call them pullets and when they will be full fledged hens??

They are pulleys until they start laying eggs and then they are hens.

By the way...I use a digital diet scale I used to use for food, it measure in ounces and grams.
