Thirty-one eggs today from 28 ducks! Almost all of them in just three huge nests, stuffed with plenty of down and straw and very clean. I smell the broody-virus in the air!

Indian Runners are making nests and depositing multiple eggs!

Ok, gonna play catch up here,

Nearly ten eggs from eleven hens today.

Had a drake go missing in one hours time two Saturdays ago. Searched but could not find.

Two days after that an eagle snatched up a hen less than 40 feet away from my dog and me!

He was behind the car and I had a baseball cap on and didn't see it coming in.

Egg production fell from eight a day to four a day, and I don't think that one hen was laying four eggs a day.

Anyway, until I get the strafing protection up, the ducks are confined to their 480sqft run.
