How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Pics
:wootThat’s great to hear. My church family has saved me so many cartons I could build a coop out of them if it would hold up. Now I just need my girls to start filling them up. lol they are slow this season!

6 eggs this morning. I’m sure that I have 7 laying but the Swedish are taking tour every other day. I wish I know which one is not laying yet as I have 8 ladies ❤️Either way, I have now 26 eggs in the fridge and because during the week everyone is gone to work/school in the morning, there will be nobody eating eggs. Thus, decided to bring some eggs to work this afternoon ( working from 3pm to midnight), so my colleagues can try some fresh duck eggs. Most of them never ate duck eggs, so I want to educate them 😜!

Pretty! I hope they like them. Most around here look at me like I am wanting them to eat a live duckling when I offer fresh duck eggs.
That is exactly the reaction that my son had when I first offered ! After trying them, every time is coming visit now, he asks to make him some eggs 😂

Aren't people funny I wonder what's the difference in duck eggs compared to chicken eggs as far as what might be in there. :hmm
My children passed the first 9 years of their childhood, next to a cow farm in France, and they often played there. However, the farmer did not have poultry in the farm. So when I decided to start my urban raising ducks adventure here in US, it was the first time when they experienced how the eggs are hatched and saw those fluffy ducklings hatching from eggs. Thus, for them, each eggs has potentially a duckling inside 😂 We used to eat foie gras ... now they even don’t want to hear about.

Just finished changing the water is dirty again😂

They sure enjoy their water don't they? and I keep wondering if when they make it so dirty why we do that to them. Of course we don't but man 15 mins after they get the pristine water it looks like it has been sitting out for a week. :sick
