How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I found three eggs today. I guess Ebony wanted to make up for missing yesterday and gave me two today. Then I got one from Wilamena.

Today after I run to Walmart (i really don't wanna go but i have to) I am going to get a scale to measure egg weight. I am hoping a food scale will work well enough. I got 12 Black East Indie eggs yesterday and 10 that survived shipping. I am also going to do an experiment with Ebony's eggs and see who she has been getting it on with I guess. I have seen her go at it with both drakes.

Two eggs. I am saving the big ones for the bator. Little ones in the fridge. Just going to set 4 as i m not sure the drake gets it and I don't want to waste as none are coming from the store. He still thinks it's a Mardi Gras parade.

These are the babies the teacher brought back. They're in a temp pin while I'm building them a more secure/permanent coop. They come in the house at night as 2x4 wire is clearly not secure for those tiny bodies.

I did sell 2 this morning to a family of 6. The little kids got to pick out which ones.

14 chicken & 3 duck eggs today, I think the Guinea is hiding her egg (or it's getting buried)....

Got 3 duck eggs supposed to hatch this weekend and another 20 duck eggs due to hatch in another 2 weeks...
