The Fawn & White Indian Runners are mostly laying greenish eggs

Same here
Snow on the ground this morning so I gave them all the food they could eat for breakfast.
Sunny and bright, so hopefully I will get another egg tomorrow.
I did get one yesterday so my total is up to four.

I actually got one duck egg Sunday and stuck it in my coat pocket. Want to take a guess what happened from there? Finally get an egg and

I'm like a little kid when I find an egg. I immediately run back to the house with it.
Better slow down so I don't trip with an egg in my hands!

The worst is when you open the coop door, step in and hear that crunch. It makes me feel like I lost a piece of jewelry, not just squished an egg.

Important notes; ground has been pretty frosty lately so I have upped the daily food rations accordingly. It was 27f last night so I enclosed their sleeping quarters with foam, chip bales and cardboard, making the 75watt reptile heater as effective as possible.
Shack temperature was 35f and the nest quarters were 45f, which seems pleasing to me and the ducks.
Installed a makeshift camera but I am still not sure which hen is laying.
Might it be the one with the most 'breedy' behavior around the drake?

Careful with foam or styrofoam: My ducks love to shred anything foamy. Fortunately they don't eat that stuff, but it looked like snow in summer when they dug out that ol' styrofoam cooler from the previous property-owners…
