The one egg per day has been consistent here. 4 ducks and 1 drake but, 1 egg per day, lol. It is what it is. todays single egg was frozen and exploded because ridiculous temperatures apparently freeze eggs that fast

Silly ducks today spent lots of time outside in the run. I think the high today was -4°. They were still out taking dips in the water dish.

The morning started with four eggs, but got another surprise one around 5p. I'm wondering if her internal clock will reset itself to lay in the morning?

She was a Runner Rouen from our 2020 Spring hatch. I know we have been lucky in that she is only the second duck we have lost in 2 and a half years. She did not walk particularly upright, just about what you would figure for a half runner.

Hmm, mixed ducks are usually kind of indestructible.
