i got 9 eggs today out of 10 hens that should be laying at this time woohooo.

4 eggs from 5 hens in one coop and 1 egg from three in another

4 out of 7 from the big girls and the babies are freeloading

I got SEVEN today - one from each of the laying hens. This is the first time!
We won’t talk about the 17 freeloaders.

3 out of 5. We realized one of my prettiest pullets is actually a cockerel.

1 tiny cochin bantam egg again. That almost makes a week straight for her. And my gold laced cochin bantam spent some time in one of the nest boxes today. So hopefully I will be getting 2 bantam eggs soon. Of course it will be even more egg-citing when the big girls start laying.

10 out of 12. The two that arent laying are silkies, ones broody and the other hasnt laid since she hatched chicks MONTHS ago. but im happy I got these all on one day
