Hi, I was wondering how many "extra" eggs do you usually ship when you send eggs? Is that the common practice? Is it expected? and if so, how many "extras" are usaully expected when you place an order? maybe it just depends on a lot of things, but i would really love to hear your ideas and responses.

Thanks.

Hi! If the offer is for "12+ eggs", I send anywhere from 14 to 18 eggs (depending on what's available 'fresh for shipping/hatching').
If I'm buying eggs, I don't expect extras unless the offer states extras. If an offer states 12 eggs, I expect to get 12 eggs (not 11 eggs).

when u sent extra eggs do u sent eggs that have a good chance to hatched r do u sent pointed eggs on both side , to big on 1 side r small eggs as that usually what i get as extra

I normally send anywhere from 1-6 extra depending on the girls.. If they aren't laying well I'd rather send 1 extra than hold the whole batch up waiting for more that they may not even lay. As for the question above me, I send eggs that are in the same shape as the others extras shouldn't be "bad eggs" in my opinion.

I send as many as I can fit, if I don't have any other orders waiting. I've been known to double orders if I wasn't wanting to hatch them out for myself.
