How many of you are afraid of going to the feed store because....

Nope i got plenty of broodies maken me chicks all year round and i hatch 1000's in my cabinet bators in the warmer months.

My feed store only sells poor quality hatchery brown isas and australorps and "white australorps"... which are leghorns. All pullets. Makes it easy.

One lady that works at one of the feed stores that I go to said that she keeps taking home chicks when they are in stock. I seriously couldn't work there and have any coop space left empty.

No way! I just saw a chinese couple at the feed store, picking out the "girlier" chicks from the bunch. What they didn't know was that they were all RED SEX LINKS, and white

Plus this store never knows what they are selling.

I'm such a sucker for little chicks! Last year I was hoping my husband couldn't count.... unfortunately he can... at first I only bought a few... then a few more. Until oneday he came home from work and was like 'how come we have nine chicks in the garage And the last time I counted there was only 4?'
