There would be no room in my bed if i let my dogs sleep with us.. 2 saint bernards and a mastiff....
PLUS..my 5 cats that sleep with us off and on all night long... ugh...

Don't you mean how many of our wive's dogs sleep with us in the bed?

My dogs (aussie & heeler cross) both sleep on dog beds next to the bed.... wife's rescue 8 mos old chi sleeps under the covers in the bed between me & the DW. It wouldn't be too bad but the little bugger has COLD feet & nose that she loves to stick on my naked back! The other issue is that she likes to "bounce" on my head to wake me up! But oh well - we had the youngest child in there until she was 7.... so it really is no big deal for the 3 lb chi to be in there!!!! Funny thing is that she will not sleep in the bed with me alone when DW works nights - she sleeps on the couch or with DD but when "mama" gets home shes in the bed in a flash!

Uh.... Don't you remember our deal from last year Red? Your hubby was supposed to be on his way to IA for a weekend? I needed help building that coop, remember?

So you just send him on his way, and your dogs can sleep with you then

This is so true! We tried for years, off and on, to get Charlie Girl to climb on the bed with us and she just wouldn't do it. If we picked her up and put her on the bed, she freaked and jumped down like her tail was on fire. Probably just another thing her previous non-human owner taught her, probably in a mean way.

Still, we have a queen sized bed, my DH is a big man and on CPAP and oxygen to boot. I have a sleep disorder. There's just no room for a dog on the bed.
