Same here! My baby chick, Ivory (the only one that hatched for a test hatch) is still too young to go outside (only 26 days old today) so she stays in her brooder box in my bedroom. I say good morning when I wake up and good night to her every night before I go to bed.
Right now she's snuggled up on my shoulder, peeping in her sleep because she hears me typing.
lol she's so adorable!
My mom's/our family's yellow lab prefers to sleep in his cozy dog bed with his best friend/step sister, a black lab.
But my dad's two dogs (a dachshund/black lab mix and the other one is some kind of a black lab mix) sleep with my dad all the time.
Riley, the dachshund mix, will sleep just like a person next to my dad with his head on a pillow. Nitro, the unknown mix one, will usually sleep above the covers and will sometimes sleep somewhere else.
I have to admit, I would love to let Ivory snuggle up with me to sleep but I would probably roll over on her while sleeping and that obviously wouldn't be good...
She's better off in her warm brooder box with her sock bed!
(lol sorry I know this is about dogs but I just had to mention Ivory...she's so spoiled!
