How many Quail eggs did you get today?

4 eggs again today. That's supposedly what they were laying daily with their previous owner. I'm hoping now that they have lights that will continue to increase a bit. I'd like to get enough collected to give incubating a go.

I think I'll start with 25 eggs or so. I expect them not to all hatch, if any, since it's my first time incubating eggs. I let hens (chickens) do that around here till now with the quail.

I know this isn't anything to do with eggs, but it'll lead up to them, my 4 and a quater week old quail, are ready to go out to their adult coop, where they will hopefully lay eggs, (they're starting to make my living room stink)!

I got 4 eggs today instead of my regular 3. Now I know I have at least 4 hens.

We got 5 today and 5 yesterday. The most so far per day.

12 today. I have someone laying soft eggs that I just give to the dog but our new group is starting to lay now. Soon I'll be hopefully starting incubating.

I'm only getting one these days instead of four. They are still getting light, so I'm not sure what's going on.
