How many treats is to many?

I am trying to socialize my babys to me and so I got some meal worms. Man it did not take long for the BR to figure it out, now none of the other girls can even get close enough to me to get one before Penny and Wilma are running around with one in their mouth like a crazy person with all the others chasing her.

So my question is, if she grabs all 4-5 of them is that ok? I have to take all the other girls out one at a time to give them treats but with the new dog kennel brooder I cant reach all the way in to grab one.

I'm sure it is fine. I've seen them swallow huge grapes. 5 worms won't choke a chicken, and the protein is good for them.

I bought 30 crickets today and the first couple of chicks that figured out they were food started hammering them down. Finally, the other 7 chicks caught on and it was a free for all. I was nervous, as was you, about one or two birds getting all of the treats, but they are all fine today. they sure were tired after the crickets were gone and the frenzy was over!
