Plus they trick or treated Saturday night in my area. I can see the "main" paved road from my house and it looked like they were evacuating the neighborhood with all the cars lined up driving so slowly. Houses are spaced a far bit apart out here.


Saturday – I had zero also. No one on my road had any bell ringers.




I would come to your house Imp.......hoping for nerds in my trick or treat pumpkin.

Zero. We also live too far out in the boonies to make it worthwhile for anyone to come by. Lived here 9 years so far, no trick-or-treaters in all that time. Our school hosts Trick-or-Trunk every year since everyone who attends that school also live out in the boonies. We had that event this past Friday.

Bah humbug....

I just put out the bowl with candy and when it is empty I take it in.

When I first moved here, we bought a couple of bags thinking we would be eating it all ourselves. Instead I had to send the hubby out for more.

But for the past 10-15 years it has just been a handful of kids. They built 2 housing tracks with what was million dollar places and one with 3/4 mil, seems those areas are much more popular than a bunch of apts and condos. (Chickens are at moms, she just had the neighbor kid come)

Never have had. Too far out in the boonies I guess, plus we have the "trunk or treat" thing in town, so I guess that's where everyone goes.

I've always bought a bag of candy just in case. Looks like I'll be eatting it tomorrow.

I went trick-or-treating one year, and one of the houses ran out of candy by the time I made it out there...much to the dismay of my parents, the house gave me a kitten instead. I was thrilled! It was the best halloween EVER!
