How many Trick or Treaters did you get?

My brother lives in Seattle. I prefer more moisture, but our cool season is worth the dryness.

None. I didn't turn any lights on, and no one stopped. Personally, I just wanted to be left alone. Ds said I wasn't in the Halloween spirit.

rebelcowboy,

I completely don't understand. Explain this please. I have never heard of trick or treating a day early. And why didn't I know about this when I was 10.

Its custom for local governments to ask people to not trick or treat on Sundays. They come up with all kinds of reasons to keep from saying its because of church. Then again few are home on a Sunday night so you wouldn't get any candy anyway.

that's how it was here. We had trick or treat on Saturday. Then Sunday the church in town had a big festival. They did have trunk or treat at the end, though. A lot of fun for everyone.

One - my first trick-or-treater (besides my own kids) in 3 years!

I live on a well-populated street, but we're at the very end so there's no street lamps down here and only 4 houses beyond mine. So it's a long, dark walk for just few houses and most kids don't bother. The other neighbors don't even turn on their lights.

we don't do candy. our houses are too far apart. Guess you would have to drive house-to-house. My family and Me go over to my parents house for the 2 young kids to do their trick-treating. Then we go back to her house and start passing out candy. its amazing to see the cute little kids all dressed up...(but) then comes the older kids. Without costumes and a grocery store bag? what.... after awhile of cars dropping kids off the light in their house go's OFF.....owell,,, it was still a fun evening!!!
